LOVING - MOVIE PRESENTATION & DISCUSSION

Sunday, July 29, 1:30-4:00 pm

Join us for a showing of the award-winning film Loving, the story of Richard and Mildred Loving, a mixed-race couple whose challenge of the law against miscegenation led to the 1967 U.S. Supreme Court decision Loving v. Virginia. Civil rights attorney Steven Rosenfield will be our special guest for a discussion following the movie. He has been recognized during his long career with awards that include the Virginia State Bar's Lewis F. Powell Pro Bono Award, the Virginia Trial Lawyers' Oliver Hill Courageous Advocate Award, and the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association Lifetime Achievement Award. Popcorn and drinks provided!
