Event Description
The 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day will be celebrated Sunday, November 11, 2018. The WWIWWII Commission will partner with the Virginia War Memorial and DVS for a ceremony at Dogwood Dell Amphitheater, beginning with an 11 am bell-tolling and followed by an afternoon of WWI commemorative exhibits and partner tables, a student art display and refreshments in the newly restored Carillion Tower, Virginia's state memorial to WWI.
