Christmas in July - Items Needed

Christmas in July was created to bridge the gap from the Holidays season through the summer to enable clients to be independent during storm seasons. Volunteers at Senior Connections will be putting together bags of disaster preparedness items, shelf-stable food items, and toiletry items to assist during power outages. The target is isolated seniors and clients in need. Items needed are bottled water, floating lantern flashlights, manual can openers, non perishable food, gift cards, hand sanitizers, rain gear (ponchos), umbrella, hand held fans and more. Please drop off donated items Monday through Friday at 24 East Cary Street, Richmond, Virginia or call to request someone pick up items.
