Who We Are

Avalon provides a helpline answered by trained professionals and volunteers 24/7 who offer crisis counseling intervention for those experiencing immediate threats or interpersonal violence.  Staff screens for emergency shelter placement and is prepared to make community referrals.

Those who are hard of hearing or Deaf can dial 711 on their phone for telecommunications relay services.  With the use of a language, line advocates are able to communicate in over 100 languages.
