At Bon Secours, hospice serves people in many sites – their homes, hospitals and assisted-living or nursing facilities.  Hospice care is comprehensive, embracing physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

Bon Secours Hospice offers various services and programs to patients and their families. The hospice care team consists of a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals who are specially trained to care for patients at the end of life.  Medication is provided to patients.  Medications that address symptoms of life-limiting illnesses are provided at no cost.  Patients get durable medical equipment as well as self-help and personal comfort items required for their care.  Trained hospice staff and volunteers counsel family members during their bereavement. This is free and is available for a year after the death of a loved one. Personal counseling, support groups and classes are available.
