Who We Are
Howers Helping Hand LLC is an aging and disability consumer-directed provider for all those who have been screened and approved for Virginia Medicaid Waivers. The Medicaid waivers provide support and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities and the family with long-term support to live in the community. The waivers include personal care, respite care, and companion care.
The respite services provide assistance and support to individuals that provide the unpaid primary caregiver time to do things that they need to do for themselves or other members of the family. A respite attendant will assist the individual at home and in the community with tasks the family caregiver normally helps with, giving them the needed time away.
