Lifetime Learning Institute Northern Virginia (LLI/NOVA) April Forum 2025

Lifetime Learning Institute Northern Virginia (LLI/NOVA)'s April Forum is Waiting for the Raptors. LLI/NOVA, a learning group for adults over 50, will hold its next Forum in person on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 10 - 11 am at the Little River United Church of Christ in Annandale. The speaker will be Josephine Doumbia, a naturalist with the Northern Virginia Bird Alliance (NVBA). She will talk about the spring return to our region of hawks, eagles, and falcons, all raptor birds of prey that play a critically important role in ecosystem health.

After a 25-year career with the World Bank focusing on environmental sustainability issues, Ms. Doumbia is now using her global expertise as a board member with various local environmental groups, including the NVBA, Nature Forward, and Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions.
