Skilled Nursing Facility

Walter Reed Convalescent Center is a skilled nursing facility owned by Virginia Health Services, Inc. which provides 24 hour nursing care. Rehabilitation is available for patients released from the hospital who still need the care of professionals before they're back on their feet again. The physical, occupational and speech therapists offer therapy for hip fractures, stroke rehab, neuromuscular disorders, joint replacements, orthopedic disorders and orthotic (Braces) and prosthetic training. The daily rate includes 24 hour nursing care, room, and three meals per day plus snacks.



Professional staff include: Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, RNs, LPNs, CNAs. On site services include: meals, hairstylist, support groups and transportation to organized social outings. Skilled care services at this facility include: physical, occupational and speech therapy.
