Who We Are
The Chesapeake Sheriff's Office recognizes that seniors usually have limited identification when they don't have a DMV or picture ID. The Senior Identification Program provides seniors with an additional form of picture identification free of charge which will be available throughout the City of Chesapeake.
To obtain an ID, the individual must be 55 years of age or older and must provide 2 of the following: Virginia Driver's License, birth certificate, passport, military ID, Medicare/Medicaid card or utility bill. For more information call the program coordinator at 757.382.6159. Must call to set up appointment in advance.
