Battery Park Community Center

Battery Park Community Center is on the north side of the City of Richmond and includes a computer lab, game rooms, and a meeting room. The Center was renovated in 2023.  There are basketball courts outside, two playgrounds with equipment, eight tennis courts, and a swimming pool.  Recreation programs, after-school clubs, sports, summer youth camps, crafts, self-improvement, computers, music, and special events are available.  Senior activities will resume in the fall of 2023.  Call the Center for daily hours and more information,

This location is where gun batteries were kept during the Civil War.  Hours for Battery Park are from sunrise to sunset.
