Who We Are

The mission of the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF) is to make the eradication of breast cancer a national and statewide healthcare priority through education and advocacy. VBCF has several chapters throughout Virginia that educate the public and policy makers.  The Foundation provides Public Education and Advocate Leadership Training.

Public Education: Each year VBCF provides the Virginia public with accurate, up to date information on breast cancer research, treatment, and legislation.  They host conferences, distribute educational literature and pink ribbons, provide a speaker’s bureau on breast health and head up the cancer education program in Wise county.

Advocate Leadership Training: Educated advocates are at the core of our mission.  VBCF provides opportunities for advocacy training, leadership development, and research and scientific education.
