Who We Are

There are four Neighborhood Service Centers in Norfolk that offer services and resources to Norfolk residents. Some of the services offered are adult basic education, AARP meetings, recreational programs, NAACP meetings, domestic violence classes, Alcoholics Anonymous, senior recreation, evening dental clinic and more. City Planning and Community Development is responsible for planning and regulatory principles to preserve, protect and enhance Norfolk's developed and natural environments.
