Mecklenburg Senior Citizens Center

Lake County Area Agency on Aging offers congregate meals. Mecklenburg Senior Citizens Center provides nutritious meals that meet 1/3 of the daily recommended dietary allowances as required by Federal regulation. Meals are provided to those individuals 60+ years of age who are in greatest economic, social and physical need. Those individuals eligible to attend the congregate meal site for socialization are provided their meal in a congregate setting.





Congregate meals give the individual an opportunity to be involved in many organized activities such as crafts, health screenings, health and public education, exercise, travel and tour information, money management and Medicare/Medicaid information.
