Who We Are
Doorways operates a temporary shelter for women and their children who are victims of domestic violence. Screens prospective residents by phone. Provides meals, individual goal planning, advocacy, and referrals. Clients must abide by shelter rules and must actively work on a service plan. All are welcome, including women, men, and those who identify as LGBTQ+.
Maximum stay: 30 days. Capacity: 11 bedrooms. The services, referrals, information, and shelter provided are free and confidential.
In addition to providing shelter and other basic needs, the Safehouse offers access to vocational services, childcare services, mental health services, substance abuse services, and personal finance services.
