Who We Are

LINK of Hampton Roads welcomes volunteers. LINK needs volunteers to help in various capacities with programs. LINK works with homeless, disabled, chronically ill, elderly, single parent families and youth. Skilled office workers are needed to help with data input, intake and reception, drivers are needed to pick up bread and other donations, drivers are needed to pick up and drop off youth, mentors for the elderly and youth are needed as well as volunteers to teach arts, craft and music in the youth program.

Reach Out Mentoring Volunteering:  The purpose of the program is to develop a volunteer network of trained mentors in partnership with interfaith communities health and business service agencies, civic and business leaders to provide support and community resources to people with needs in the community.



There are two(2) trainings a year for the volunteer mentors, in springs and in the fall. The mentors are matched with clients with assistance from LINK regarding resource. There is supervision for the mentor when it is needed.
