Who We Are
project: Homes offers volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are needed to provide minor housing repair services and accessibility improvements to low-income persons and to enable the elderly and disabled to remain in their homes as long as possible. The emphasis of scope of work is on health and safety code violation and prevention. Typical repairs include:
- Accessibility: Wheelchair Ramps
- Accessibility: Grab Bars
- Accessibility: Railings
- Yard Work (when posing a health/safety threat)
- Emergency Code Enforcement Repairs
- Doors locks (repairing/replacing locks)
- Minor porch repair (including steps)
- Emergency Plumbing
- Emergency Electrical repairs.
