Weatherization, CHP Energy Solutions Northern Virginia Office

The Weatherization Assistance program (federally funded and administered by the Virginia Department of Housing and Development) is managed by Community Housing Partners.  The program provides repairs and improvements to home heating and cooling systems and provides for the installation of energy-saving measures in the house, such as insulation and air sealing. The goal of the program is to increase the energy efficiency of housing occupied by low-income persons.  This program does not offer assistance with paying utility bills.



Inspects heat sources for safety and efficiency, seals major air leaks, insulates sidewalls and attics in houses, insulates mobile home floors, and insulates water heaters.

This program is for low income families, particularly for households with elderly residents, individuals with disabilities and families with children.
