Who We Are
The Greater Augusta Coalition Against Adult Abuse (GACAAA) works to increase the public’s awareness and recognition of elder abuse and encourage anonymous reporting to the proper authorities. Please visit our website to find resources in the community, information about upcoming adult abuse training sessions and workshops, and videos of past presentations.
The GACAAA is currently comprised of nearly 60 participating groups including law enforcement, Shenandoah Valley Department of Social Services, Valley Program for Aging Services, nursing homes, home healthcare providers, banks, local prosecutors, and elder care attorneys.
