Who We Are
Telamon Corporation builds and rehabilitates affordable, energy efficient and accessible housing in the City of Danville and in Pittsylvania County. Affordable mortgages and assistance with down payments and closing costs are offered to eligible families.
Applicants must be first-time home-buyers and have an income which is below 80 percent of the median income for that area. Telamon also provides the following housing counseling assistance to families and individuals: Money Debt Management; Mortgage Delinquency and Default Resolution Counseling; Loss Mitigation; Post-purchase Counseling; Homebuyer Education program; Pre-purchase Counseling; Post-purchase Counseling; Mobility and Relocation counseling; Renters assistance; Fair Housing assistance; and referral services for the Homeless.
Counseling services available to assist residents who wish to purchase a home in the Counties of Brunswick, Franklin, Halifax, Henry, Mecklenburg, Patrick, and Pittsylvania and the Cities of Danville and Martinsville.
